We are mindful of:

those who speak out and act,
to bring about the gracious purposes of Wisdom …….
that the hungry be fed,
  the poor achieve dignity,
  the oppressed be made free,
  the stranger, the foreigner and the queer find welcome,
  the abused find compassion and healing;

those who are given, or have taken, power and authority over others …
that they may respect the law,
  seek to reform it,
  work for justice and the good of all;

those who are lonely …… anxious ….. fearful ……… grieving,
homeless ….. hungry …… sick ……. dying,
foolish …… lost ……. hurting ……. despairing,
hateful …… hard-hearted …… murderous;
that they may hear Wisdom’s Word to them.
